Yihua Zhou, M.D., Ph.D.

Yihua Zhou, M.D., Ph.D., has joined the faculty of Saint Louis University School of Medicine as an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology. Dr. Zhou completed his doctoral studies at the Edison Biotechnology Institute of the Department of Biological Sciences at Ohio University, and earned his medical degree from Zunyi Medical College, Guizhou, China. Dr. Zhou completed an internship at St. Luke's Hospital, St. Louis, followed by a radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship both at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine. He joins SLUCare from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where he was an assistant professor and director of neuroradiology imaging protocols.

Board-certified in radiology, Dr. Zhou is a member of the American Board of Radiology and is the author of numerous abstracts and publications. He lectures frequently on the applications of advanced imaging techniques. Dr. Zhou has hospital affiliations at Saint Louis University Hospital and SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center, and has clinical expertise in diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology. In addition to clinical and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Zhou has research interests in the application of artificial intelligence in early disease diagnosis.
