Program Manager, Center for Global Citizenship
Katie Gauthier Donnelly became Program Manager for the Center on October 28. She is responsible for overseeing the Center's activities and working with academic and student development units throughout the university to develop programming for the Center. Prior to her arrival at SLU, Ms. Donnelly held positions in study abroad administration at St. Lawrence University and Northern Illinois University. She holds a master's degree in international studies from the University of Oregon where she was a Graduate Teaching Fellow. Ms. Donnelly participated in study abroad as a student and served as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar in Uganda at Makerere University. She has been leading community service and experiential education programs in East Africa since 2006.
Administrative Assistant, Center for Global Citizenship
Kathy Michael has been working for Saint Louis University since 2004. In those years she has worked for Research Services and Student Educational Services. Her current role is the Administrative Assistant for the Center for Global Citizenship where she will be reporting to the center's manager, Katie Donnelly. She will handle all scheduling for the center's seminar room and conference room as well as the Des Peres conference room and student lounge.
Kathy lives in Swansea, Illinois with her husband Brian of 32 years. She has two sons, Alex a 2014, SIU School of Medicine graduate and neurosurger resident and Jeff a PhD student at York University in Toronto, Canada. Kathy enjoys summer vacations on Hilton Head Island and playing with her Bischon, Macy.
