There are several ways to finance a graduate education, the
most common of which are assistantships, fellowships, and loans.
Assistantships are offered through individual departments. Acceptance into a program merits automatic consideration for an assitantship. Students should contact his or her department regarding available assistantship positions.
Fellowships are awarded based on nominations from departments.
Final decisions are made by the Dean of the Graduate School. to be considered students must have all application materials in by February 1st.
