Why did you choose SLU for your graduate degree?
Content of program (public policy focus), convenience of course schedule, location (I live in the Central West End), and the Jesuit tradition and social justice philosophy.
What factors contributed to your experience at SLU?
Quality of faculty, academic resources, namely the library, and the opportunity to teach toward the end of dissertation research.
How does your SLU education help you on your career path?
I’m transitioning to a full-time academic position and could not do this without the SLU PhD and the teaching experience I got toward the end of my program.
Why would you recommend a student attend SLU?
Because it is a progressive urban university grounded in the traditions of Jesuit education offering outstanding programs with excellent faculty.
