Coordinate speech, language hearing programs for children and adults; serves as a resource person for speech language pathologists, provides consultation services to schools, parent groups and other organizations (public & private). Conducts presentations and demonstrations, writes articles and prepares selects educational materials for the program participants. Prepares reports, correspondence, studies, and survey. Supervise audiologist, occupational, physical, speech therapists, assistants and sign language interpreters.

Why did you choose SLU for your graduate degree?
Centrally located to major highways/transit system. I resided in the city of St. Louis and did not have to pay for room and board. Diverse faculty and peers. Access to state of the art clinical equipment/therapeutic materials, resources, student life center provided a variety social activities which include my sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Community Partnerships were phenomenal. Affordable tuition in comparison to other private university. Academic excellence in a Jesuit University
What factors contributed to your experience at SLU?
Onsite training in speech language hearing clinic, faculty student ratio, accredited ASHA program, commitment, discipline, knowledgeable professors who are working in the field. Providing students with real life case studies, assessment, intervention, remediation techniques.
How does your SLU education help you on your career path?
The options to work for an employer and to be an entrepreneur. Versatile and flexibility of work schedule. Increased salary Pursue clinical growth while working in different settings e.g. (medical, educational, home health).
Opportunity to advance in administrative positions while still working in the field.
