Prospective students wanting to submit an application for Graduate Education at Saint Louis University can download a Classified (degree seeking) or Unclassified (non-degree seeking) Interactive PDF file. Type in your information. Then save, print, sign and mail to the Graduate School offices. The Recommendation form is also an Interatcive PDF for applicant's recommenders to type in their information and then save, print, sign and mail. |

Unclassified Application (Non-Degree Seeking)
Some departments may have different deadlines and additional requirements. All international applications MUST be completed by May 1 to be considered for Fall admission and October 1 for Spring admission. Please contact the department directly for the most up to date application requirement information.

Self-Managed Application:
Applicants are highly encouraged to self-manage their application files. This means that the transcripts and recommendations will be accepted from the applicant provided they arrive at the Graduate School admissions office in their original, sealed envelopes. Recommendations should have the recommenders' signatures across the seals. Upon completion, the entire application packet should be mailed to the Graduate School. International Applicants - Additional Forms/Information:
- Only original, official transcripts or marksheets are acceptable. Those documents must bear the imprinted seal of the institution and the signature of the person who is responsible for the authenticity. Photostat and copies of the documents will not be accepted. If only one set of the materials exists, then you should take them to a U.S. Embassy or Consulate Office, have the copies made and notarized there by the United States official who can certify that the documents are true facsimiles.
- Photostats, copies and personal reports of the GRE, and/or other test results such as the GMAT and TOEFL scores, are also unacceptable. When you take one of these tests, you are permitted to designate several universities to receive official score reports. If you did not initially request that Saint Louis University receive your scores, follow the instructions from the Educational Testing Service (ETS) to have an additional report forwarded to this University.
- Complete a Declaration of Financial Support packet with all accompanying documents.
- Applicants are required to submit the application fee without exception.
- All letters of recommendation must be originals and be signed by the individuals completing them. Photostat or faxed copies are not acceptable.

The deadline to be considered for assistantships and fellowships is February 1. Your completed application and all supporting documents should be received by this date. It is recommended that all applicants submit a self-managed application.
