Pay Application Fee Online

  • $40 application fee ($20 for applicants reapplying to the Graduate School)
  • Official Transcripts

  • Must be received in a sealed envelope
  • Transcripts in a foreign language must include certified English translation
  • Letters of Recommendation

  • Three letters with signatures are required
  • Must be received in a sealed envelope with writer's signature across seal
  • Professional Goal Statement

  • Approximately 500 words, double-spaced
  • Include name and birthday on each page
  • Statement should provide insight into applicant's professional interests: What experiences influenced your decision to apply to SLU? What program or faculty attract you to SLU? Career Plans?
  • Department of interest should be contacted for further assistance
  • Résumé

  • Academic, professional and volunteer information
  • Graduate Record Exams Test Scores (GRE)

  • Required for entry to most programs; individual department requirements may vary
  • Saint Louis University's GRE code is 6629
  • Even in a self managed application, all scores are sent to SLU by testing center
  • Saint Louis University offers the GRE at the Standardized Testing Center for both SLU students and non-SLU students. You may register for the GRE by visiting www. ETS.org.
