Daniel Maurer
Ph.D., (Clinical) Psychology
“Early in my senior year, I decided that I wanted to attend a Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology. The most important thing for me was to find a program that gave me the freedom to explore all my interests in psychology, to develop all these interests and not to force me to have one concentration and not be able to change. But at the same time, I wanted the program to provide enough structure and guidance so that I would not lose my focus. The unique mentorship program within the psychology department at Saint Louis University fit my needs perfectly. That and the school’s excellent academic reputation led me to choose SLU as my graduate school.”
