"I am originally from Puerto Rico and moved to Iowa in 1995. I received my BA degree in Religion and Spanish in December 2003 at Simpson College in Indianola, IA, and my MA in Theology with a major in Scripture and minor in History in 2006 from St. John's University in MN.

The Ph.D. in Historical Theology program at St. Louis University caught my attention as a great opportunity to integrate my knowledge of Scripture and history and explore the many possibilities that stem from their interaction. I feel that St. Louis University has the necessary resources and tools to prepare me so that I can better assist the growing Spanish-speaking population in the United States and succeed in the academic world.”
