LaMarcus Bolton
Ph.D., Industrial/Organizational Psychology
I am a first-year graduate student in the Ph.D. Industrial/Organizational Psychology program. I received my B.A. in Psychology from Saint Louis University, with concentrations in African-American Studies and Human Resource Management, both of which have given me initial preparation for my organizational studies.
Although I had several offers from other excellent graduate programs, I decided to continue my graduate education at Saint Louis University due to the supportive faculty and staff, productive learning environment, and excellent research opportunities.
My current research has focused primarily on the use of personality traits in employment selection, as well as the implications of racial discrimination within the workplace. In the future, I plan to pursue research in organizational development, learning, and communication. I have no doubt that Saint Louis University will prepare me thoroughly for my career as scholar, researcher, and practitioner
