Morgan Book Fund application deadline extended

The Graduate School is now taking applications for The Edward L. and Rhelda Marbry Morgan, Ph.D. Endowed Book Fund.The deadline for submitting your application is now Friday, Nov. 20, 2009. Changes to the application process have been made. All application materials must be submitted by e-mail. Contact Dr. Alexa Serfis for more information.


Fall 'Topics of Diversity' series set for Friday

The College of Arts & Sciences and the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders will hold its annual fall Lynda R. Campbell, Ph.D., Memorial Lecture Series on Friday, Oct. 30 at the Singuefeld Stateroom of DuBourg Hall..

The day-long session will be from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and Angela H. Ciccia, Ph.D. CCC-SLP will be featured at the lecture.


Invitation-only Art exhibit opens Friday

Artists Kate Bingaman-Burt, Coby Ellison, Fran Lattanzio, Snail Scott and Victor Wang will have their works showcased at the Boileau Hall gallery, starting Friday, Oct. 30 and continuing through to Saturday, Nov. 21.

The opening reception for the inaugural invitation event will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m., the exhibit will be open Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m.


'I SPEAK" coming to The Billiken Club

Saint Louis University students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in an Open Mic night on Wednesday, Nov. 4 from 8 - 11 p.m. at The Billiken Club.

The Cross Cultural Center and Billikens After Dark are co-sponsoring the event. If you have an original musical or spoken word pieces addressing a social "ism" related oppression and injustice, you are encouraged to register at the Cross Cultural Center before performing. A house jazz band and professional spoken word artist will also be apart of event..
