The Edward L. and Rhelda Marbry Morgan, Ph.D. Endowed Book Fund

Award
The award includes book and supply scholarships for two students for one academic year.

Deadline
The deadline for submission is Friday, November 20, 2009.

Eligibility*

Applicants must be full-time graduate students pursuing a degree in:

American Studies Health Management & Policy
Biological Sciences Mathematics & Math Computer Sciences
Communication Philosophy
Communication Sciences & Disorders Physiological Sciences
Community Health Psychology
Educational Studies Public Health Studies
English Theological Studies

*Senior undergraduates students studying Education or English are also eligible to apply

Applicants must submit

  • a 700-750-word essay articulating the type of person the student thinks Dr. Morgan was, followed by an explanation of the student's commitment to her ideals and values, as indicated in her biography.
  • A resume reflecting the student's leadership in promoting diversity and service in economically depressed areas.
