The Department of Research Methodology offers a formal minor in conjunction with graduate programs in other University departments.
Prerequisite:
- RMET 520 General Research Methods (or an equivalent course in the student's major department).
For a minor, a student must first make application to the Department of Research Methodology. In consultation with the department chairperson, the minor is then developed by selections from the following three clusters of courses. In this way, students can build a minor that best suits their own needs and goals in their major program.
Cluster I:
Core courses. A student would select three courses from this cluster.
- RMET 530 Applied Regression Models
- RMET 625 Analysis of Variance and Experimental Design
- RMET 602 Application of Measurement Theories
- RMET 650 Multivariate Statistical Analysis
Cluster II:
Advanced statistics courses. A student would select one course from this cluster.
- RMET 606 Nonparametric/Categorical Data Analysis
- RMET 680 Structural Equation Modeling
Cluster III:
Methods courses. A student would select one course from this cluster.
