Dr. Tomazic coordinates university-wide graduate education activities, chairs the Graduate Academic Affairs Committee and the Associate Deans and Directors Committee, and collaborates with the Associate Deans and Center Directors to develop for a, workshops and programs for both graduate students and graduate faculty. He is responsible for collecting and reporting required data on graduate education, oversees graduate candidacy advising, and administers numerous scholarships and awards. Additionally, he serves as the advisor for the Graduate Student Association of the University.

The Graduate Education Coordinator coordinates operations and financial management of University-wide graduate education initiatives to include Graduate Fellowships, Assistantships, and Scholarships. They also maintain and analyze budgets, assists with the various administrative functions relating to graduate education, ensures policy and procedure compliance, reconciles accounts, prepares financial reports and requisitions and provides support to the Associate Vice President and Candidacy Specialists.
