The morning sessions are open to any graduate student who wants advice on writing. You do not need to attend all sessions but will receive all of the materials. The afternoon sessions are designed as tutorials and are open ONLY to students who are either at the prospectus or thesis/dissertation writing stages. Students will be asked to submit a part or all of the proposal or thesis/dissertation to Dr. Sunstrom prior to the workshop so that she can come with comments. You will have an opportunity to have feedback, revise and get additional feedback. Last year the students made significant progress in their writing in three days.
The tutorial part of the workshop is open to only the first 20 students who register. We will keep a wait list and it is possible that you can only attend one day of the tutorial which would open the other days to other students. Please read the registration form carefully. Please complete the registration and return it to firstname.lastname@example.org by June 1. You will be notified if you are one of the first 20 for the tutorial or if you are on a waiting list by June 2.
