Provide managers necessary tools and resources to manage effectively at Saint Louis University. Manager Orientation is offered quarterly. New Managers will be invited to attend the next available Manager Orientation. Current managers may enroll in Manager Orientation by registering HERE.
University Orientation provides an introduction to Saint Louis University vision, mission, values and services including overviews by division Vice Presidents. Once the job offer is extended and accepted, the recruiter will schedule the new employee for the next available University Orientation based upon their start date. University Orientations are held the first Wednesday of the month from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Pere Marquette Gallery on the 2nd floor of DuBourg Hall. Parking: If you have a Parking Pass, you may park in the Olive Garage near the corner of Lindell and Compton. Otherwise, meter parking is available outside.

New Employee Orientation provides essential information regarding University benefit plans, technology and access, and payroll and timekeeping. New Employee Orientation is schedule every Monday morning (varies on weeks with Monday as a holiday) from 8:30-11:30am in Human Resources Training Room 1st Floor, Wool Center.
**There will be no New Employee Orientation on November 24, December 22 or December 29**
If you have obtained your Parking Pass, you may park in the Olive Garage near the corner of Lindell and Compton. Otherwise, meter parking is available outside the Wool Center.
A Benefits Specialist will present the University Benefit Plans, distribute information and answer questions. All newly hired regular full-time employees, including employees who go from part-time to regular full-time, have 31 days from the first of the month following their date of hire to enroll in the University Benefits Plans, though benefits may be elected before this date. Once the job offer is extended and accepted, the recruiter will schedule the newly hired Staff Employee to attend New Employee Orientation for the first date available based upon their start date. Newly hired Faculty members will need to contact the Benefits Office at 314-977-5847 before or on their first day of work to be scheduled to attend a Benefits Orientation.
Technology and Access:
Information Technology Services will provide important information regarding access to University email, systems, programs and security.
Payroll and Human Resources Information Systems will share important information regarding direct deposit, time keeping, pay schedules, vacation accruals, holiday schedule, and how to access the employee tab in Self Service Banner.
SLUCare Orientation is held on the third Friday of the month. Orientation is from 8:00 to 12:30 in the Drummond Hall multimedia room.
