Depending on your position at Saint Louis University, you are expected to complete several tasks prior to beginning work. These tasks include a Criminal Background Check (CBC), Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9), direct deposit and tax forms. Some positions will require a pre-employment health screening. Human Resources will provide you with a list of required pre-employment tasks. Click on the type of employee (related to your job) below for a general outline of tasks required.

New Employee Orientation is required for new full-time and part-time employees; sessions are held every Monday. If you are a new staff member, orientation is scheduled by your recruiter. Newly-hired faculty should schedule orientation before or on their first day of work by calling Benefits at 314.977.5847.

Please note: You must enroll for benefits, and provide required dependent verification documentation, if applicable, within your first 31 days of eligibility. Benefit eligibility will begin on the current hire date.
