Helping people with bleeding and thrombotic disorders in St. Louis

The Center for Bleeding and Thrombotic Disorders and the Adult Hemophilia Treatment Center serve adults with bleeding disorders and thrombotic disorders from Southern Illinois and Eastern Missouri. We also  sponsor a 340B clotting factor distribution program.

The Adult Hemophilia Treatment Center is one of 140 centers across the country, funded by grants from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB).

Our staff members are active in community education and hemophilia outreach. We support and participate in the activities of the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Research Society, the Gateway Hemophilia Association, the World Hemophilia Federation, the National Hemophilia Foundation, the Hemophilia Federation of America and the American Thrombosis and Hemostasis Network.

In addition, the Hemophilia Treatment Center continues to support an international outreach program through its relationship with the Hemophilia Treatment Center in Bangalore, India.
