The challenge of voluntary giving in normal, modern business activities is the topic of an interdisciplinary panel of SLU scholars. Each brings the resources of his or her discipline to bear on the question of the relationship between the logic of gift and the logic of markets. The panel includes:

The Center for International Studies presents the Seventh Annual Garcia Lecture, Fixing the Climate: International Climate Action and the United States," by Dr. Ana Unruh-Coehn, Deputy Staff Director of the U.S. House of Representative Natural Resource Committee Democratic Staff and Rhodes Scholar. The event is February 19 at 3:00 p.m. in the Pere Marquette Gallery in DuBourg Hall.
