ITS provides certain software online for faculty, staff and currently enrolled students.  With a valid SLU Net ID and password, you have access to the certain software, free of charge.

Billiken Print Pop-Up Client

Student-owned Windows operating systems

Billiken Printing allows students to print to any of the 18+ printers on campus.  Billiken Printing costs 10 cents per B/W page and uses Billiken Bucks as the payment method.

Cicso VPN Client (AnyConnect)

Faculty and staff

The Virtual Private Network (VPN) for SLU faculty and staff that provides secure remote access to network resources on SLU Net. The application can also be downloaded from the iTunes store for use on iPhones and iPads.

EndNote   

Faculty, staff and students (for both Windows and Macintosh operating systems)  

Bibliography software that allows users to import citations from online bibliographic databases, organize references, images and PDFs, and create bibliographies.  (Faculty and staff: To request EndNote for University-owned computers in personal office spaces, please contact the IT Service Desk at 314-977-4000.)

Respondus is a tool for creating and managing tests that can be printed to paper or published directly to a Blackboard Learn course.

Symantec Endpoint Protection

Faculty, staff and students (for personal and work computers)

Helps protect your computer and helps prevent your computer from being used to pass viruses to other machines without your knowledge.  ITS offers Symantec software for both Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
