Avoid Phishing Scams

There's Something Phishy Here...

Email is the most common way for Internet fraudsters to lure you into providing sensitive information. Known as phishing, cyber criminals impersonate a legitimate business by sending an email asking for your personal information. To protect yourself and your information, do not reply to any email, text, or pop-up that asks for personal information even if it appears to be from a legitimate business. Do not click on a link contained within an unanticipated email. Doing so could put you at risk of malware and viruses. The infographic below can help you learn to spot a phishing email.
