IT Training and Communications, a department of Information Technology
Services, has developed a variety of non-credit computer application
classes to assist the faculty and staff of Saint Louis University.
The full range of classes, generally three hours in length, is
designed for the novice as well as the advanced user. Classes
are held on the Frost and Health Sciences Center campuses.
The IT Training department will maintain a record of participants
and the classes they complete. Once participants are enrolled
and attend the class, they will receive a bound course book, diskette
with practice files, and a certification of completion for the
course. NOTE: Manuals may not be purchased without attendance,
as they are the supplement of the instructor-led training model
used in ITS. Materials will only be distributed to participants attending class.
Registration is completed online, through the IT Training Information System
which can be accessed below. The cost of each class
is nonrefundable. The actual payment (IDO, check, or cash)
must be received by the IT Training department at least three
days prior to the class or registration will be cancelled automatically.
Information Technology Services reserves the right to cancel a
computer class.
In the event of a cancellation, participants will be notified
immediately, via email. Credit will be allocated to the participant's
account if they have paid, and can be used toward any future class. Credit does expire after 90 days
from the date of cancellation. If a participant elects to cancel registration, they
may do so online, until the scheduled class date. If within 72 hours of the
scheduled class date, and a participant cancels, no credit will be given to their account.
You can view the list of all upcoming classes being offered here.
NOTE: Class schedule to be posted in coming months.
