Financial Requirements

Financial Obligations to the University

All financial obligations to the University must be satisfied before a student can receive his or her diploma and/or final transcript. All emergency loans (excluding Fishman) must be repaid one week prior to graduation. Transcript and registration holds will be placed on accounts with outstanding loans. The Law School Registrar's office will not release final transcripts or verify bar certifications if a student has a financial hold.

Student Loan Exit Counseling

Graduating students who have educational loans with Saint Louis University School of Law are encouraged to attend an exit interview session. The purpose of the exit interview is to review student loan obligations. The meeting will cover numerous topics on the repayment provisions of student loan(s) and will require the review of several documents. Graduating students are encouraged to email the School of Law Financial Services Office to schedule an appointment.
