Learning Community Mentor Positions
Each Learning Community has two mentor positions that work with the LC resident advisors to assist students in the transition to the LC as well as focus on building upon and continuing the legacy of the learning community. The two positions are know as the LC mentor position.
Learning Community Mentor Position:
- The LC Mentor position is a way for sophomores, juniors and senior students to return to the learning community in a leadership role and provide peer mentorship to incoming learning community students. This position works with the learning community RAs to provide social and academic opportunities that help the learning community gain awareness of on-campus resources, connections with faculty and staff on campus, and connections with Saint Louis University. Furthermore, this position helps recruit sophomores back to the currently established learning communities and act as additional stakeholders focused on the betterment of the learning community program.

The LC Mentor Position is hired through the FYE Leadership Selection Process.
Interested students are strongly encouraged to attend one of the follow information sessions which will give you additional information about each of the six positions associated with the FYE Leadership Selection Process as well as the selection process in general.
