Global Villa Learning Community
The Global Villa welcomes first year and second year returning students of all backgrounds who are interested in other cultures - their histories, languages, traditions, and their role in international affairs.
It is a learning community that fosters cross-cultural understanding and service to others as part of the Jesuit tradition.
The Global Villa is ideal for international students, those majoring or minoring in a language and/or International Studies. Students preparing for study abroad or returning from it will also benefit from this learning community.
Residents may opt to live in Language Clusters within the building (such as French, German, or Spanish), enabling them to live in community with others who have a shared language interest.
Faculty from the Modern and Classical Language Deparment along with other staff on campus assist the community in its academic and social transition.
To register for the Global Villa Learning Community please request it on your housing application.
