Description:

As a member of the ICPSR, Saint Louis University provides access for its students, faculty, and staff to a vast repository of social science data sets for research and instruction.  Disciplines represented include political science, sociology, economics, history, education, gerontology, criminal justice, public health, foreign policy, and law.  Visit the ICPSR’s Web site to search.

Beginning August 23, 2004, all faculty, students, and staff downloading data will need to create a MyData account. You can find out more about MyData, in the Help tab on the ICPSR's home page: http://www.icpsr.umich.edu/cgi-bin/needhelp.

For a searchable list of articles, books, book chapters, dissertations, technical reports, etc., both published and unpublished, that analysed ICPSR data for some purpose, visit the Bibliography of Data-related Literature.  (JM)

Assistance: Contact the Reference Desk at 977-3103, John Montre, Government Documents Librarian, or your Liaison Librarian for help in requesting a data set.

By using the Libraries’ Electronic Resources, you are agreeing to the University Libraries Appropriate Use Policy for Electronic Resources.
