in the world, this database provides abstracts and full bibliographic citations from worldwide
engineering and technical literature that encompasses all engineering disciplines, as well as
related fields in science, and management. The entries are drawn from over 2,600 published
journals, conference proceedings and individual conference papers, technical reports, monographs,
and other materials. The print counterpart is Engineering Index. On the
Pius Library's Homepage under Database
Guides, there is a detailed guide to using Ei Compendex.
LEXISNEXIS Academic. Dates vary by publication. LexisNexis. In-library and remote access.
Updated continuously. Excellent source for information on the
aerospace/aviation industry that is mostly full text. To search, first select from
LEXISNEXIS Academic from the PIUS Library's homepage under Choose a Database K-W .
Then select Business from the tab, then Industry &
Market, and then Aerospace, Defense and Aviation News . Type your terms into
the search boxes provided and select a date range. Then click on the search button. NOTE:
The term(s) entered in the first keyword box MUST appear in the title or the first two or
three paragraphs. Place one, general search word in the first box and use the next for terms
