Weiss

Claims to update and revise their reports more frequently than other rating companies.  They do not accept payments from the companies being rated.  Each print volume includes lists of companies, Weiss recommended companies, all companies by their ratings, and ratings upgrades and downgrades.

     Updated daily. Indexes and abstracts more than 1,300 journals and trade publications in all areas of business and management, many with an international focus.  Full text is available for more than 600 of the periodicals in page image (PDF), text, and/or Bell & Howell's Text+Graphics format.  Examples of areas covered are accounting and taxation, banking and finance, economics, government, health care, human resources, labor relations, marketing, public administration, real estate, etc.

Academic Search Premier. 1975- .  EBSCOhost.  In-library and remote access.
     Updated daily.  Indexes about 8,000 scholarly and general interest periodicals.  Subject coverage includes biological and medical sciences, chemistry, education, engineering, humanities, physics, psychology, religion & theology, sociology, and women's studies. The full text of articles from approximately 3,500 periodicals is available.

Business & Company Resource Center.  1980-  .  Gale.  In-library and remote access.
     Updated daily except Sunday.  Indexes approximately 1,000 business journals and trade/industry publications as well as 200,000 full-text company directory profiles and over 50,000 full-text investment reports.  Approximately half of the journals and trade/industry publications are full text.

EconLit.  1969-  . SilverPlatter.   In-library and remote access.
     Updated monthly.  Produced by the American Economic Association this is the major index for locating literature in economics.  It is the electronic equivalent of Journal of Economic Literature, Index of Economic Articles in Journals & Collections, and Cambridge University Press Abstracts of Working Papers in Economics.  Indexes worldwide literature on economics from books, working papers, collective volumes, and more than 300 major economics journals.

LexisNexis Academic.  LexisNexis.  In-library and remote access.
     Updated continuously.  Provides online access to full text of current and historical court cases, current codes and bill tracking for States and the United States, news sources, business and financial information, and international news and company information.

St. Louis Post-Dispatch.  1989-  .  In-library and remote access.
     Updated daily.  Access to archival articles back to 1989.  Go the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Web site for late-breaking news and articles available only on their Web site.  Another point of access for this newspaper is Academic Universe.

Wall Street Journal.  1986-  .  ProQuest.  In-library and remote access.
     Updated daily.  This U.S. newspaper "is the financial newspaper of record. It offers in-depth coverage of national and international finance as well as first rate coverage of hard news." (text from site)  Indexing, abstracting, and full text is available from 1986 forward.
