FINDING GOVERNMENT DOCUMENTS

Pius Library is a depository for United States Government Documents, which are a rich site for meteorology-related information.  Some, but not all government documents are listed in our online catalog, SLU Libraries Catalog there are several ways to search for them.  Many will involve checking with the Reference Department.  The documents are located on the Lower Level of Pius Library and are arranged by Superintendent of Documents Number (SuDoc).  To find Government Documents

1) Search the SLU Libraries catalog for "all locations."  If you find a government document listed at a different library, check at the Reference Desk to see if Pius Library owns the title.

2) Search the GPO (Monthly Catalog of U.S. Government Publications) for government publications since 1976.  Then check at the Reference Desk to see if Pius Library owns the title.
