1. Print from the computers in the Reference Area

Note: Printing from your personal computer to the Reference Area printers described below is temporary unavailable due to a change in printers.
     

1. Print from your personal computer (WindowsXP and Windows2000) - SLUnet ONLY.  To connect to SLUnet, please see Configuration for Billiken Wireless
   
   

   a.     Go to Wireless Printing to download and install the printer driver and
           Pharos software needed for printing to one of the networked printers on
           campus. (If you have already done this, please skip this step.)

   • Click on "Windows Installation Instructions and Software"
   • Right click on the appropriate link (Windows XP Home or Pro or Windows 2000) for your computer and choose "Save Target As" to save as a file on your desktop
   • Follow the instructions provided for installing the file.
   • Restart your computer

   b.     Install the printer driver for Pius Library's printers #2 and #3
           (WindowsXP and Windows2000 only)

   Right click on this file:  piusprint; select "Save Target As"; and save as a file on your desktop.

   Double click the file to begin installation.

   c.     This will install another printer in your printer list called "Pius
           Reference 2 & 3".

2. Print articles and documents
   • Click on printer icon or use File-->Print
   • Name your print job in the pop-up box
   • Go to printer #2 or #3
   • Swipe your ID to open the list of print requests
   • Highlight your print job by clicking on it
   • Click OK to print it
