This is the place to go when you need sources for a paper or specific information on a topic. Librarians will help you use the resources at Pius or tell you how to get materials from other libraries. You may also type papers, prepare PowerPoint presentations, or create Excel spreadsheets and Access databases using the latest Microsoft Office programs. Other services offered include course-related library presentations and orientation tours, CD-ROM and Web-based databases, print indexes and reference books, an individualized Research Assistance Program (RAP), and a variety of library guides and instructional handouts. Printing from computers in the Reference Department is handled by laser printers, providing fast, high-quality printed pages. Prints are $.05 per page for black & white and $.50 for color prints or color photocopies.
