Manuscripta: A Journal
for Manuscript Research
Since 1957 the Vatican Film Library has published Manuscripta, a journal devoted to research on medieval and Renaissance manuscripts. The journal features articles and book reviews on topics such as paleography, codicology, illumination, diplomatics, papyrology, epigraphy, library history, reading and literacy, manuscript cataloguing, and textual criticism.
Published twice annually — ISSN 0025-2603
Current subscriptions (EUR 60 per year) are available from Brepols Publishers. Back issues (USD 8 per issue) for volumes 1 (1957) through 42 (1998) are available through our editorial offices. |
