The Vatican Film Library is open to students, scholars, and the public upon presentation of a valid photo ID. It is recommended that before visiting the library researchers confirm the presence in the collection of the materials they wish to consult. See information on the collections or contact the Vatican Film Library directly. It is presumed that researchers will possess the necessary paleographical and language skills to work with manuscript materials.
The Vatican Film Library is located in Pius XII Memorial Library on the Frost campus of Saint Louis University in midtown St. Louis. It is served by public transportation through bus routes along Lindell Boulevard and Grand Boulevard and through the MetroLink light rail system (connecting Lambert International Airport with downtown St. Louis) at the Grand Station nearby on Grand Boulevard. See maps and transportation for further details.
