The Vatican Film Library has maintained an active publishing program since 1957. Through its journal, Manuscripta, the VFL publishes new research on medieval and Renaissance manuscripts and welcomes submissions on topics involving original research based on manuscript sources from the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the early modern period.
