Transferring/Changing MajorsStudents who want to transfer TO the Medical Center:
Students who are inquiring about information related to academic programs on the Medical Center are more than welcome to schedule an appointment with an academic advisor. However, we prefer that students make contact with the academic department of interest first to verify interest in the career before seeing an advisor to discuss coursework.
All new students to the Medical Center advising office are seen for a half hour appointment (or more if needed) where they will be given time to ask questions and learn as much as possible about the advising process and requirements the program. Students should notify their current advisor about their interest in a Medical Center Program, and obtain an Advising Referral Form before scheduling an appointment on the Medical Center. The student should then bring that form to their appointment.
To schedule an appointment with an advisor on the Medical Center, please contact the front desk of the Student Success Center - Medical Center at 314-977-8992 or email@example.com.
