Welcome to Academic Advising on the Medical Center! Every first-time undergraduate student in Doisy College of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing is assigned to an academic advisor in this office. The advising staff is knowledgeable about curriculum requirements, policies and procedures, and academic opportunities - but spends the time to get to know students on an individual level and help them through the natural transitional challenges of college.
Our Mission Statement
Academic advising within Student Development supports transitioning students by promoting the holistic development of the individual student. To this end, we foster educational responsibility, encourage campus involvement, and promote reflective decision-making through quality academic advising within an inclusive and neutral environment.
