Welcome to the Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics (MIT) Program at Saint Louis University. We appreciate the opportunity to share our unique graduate program with you!
Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics is a new field that encompasses many fields of imaging and therapy, but looks toward imaging at the molecular level. Molecular Imaging feeds directly into the idea of individualized medicine - understanding how the body operates at the cellular level can lead to unique treatments that target the processes occurring in each patient. Graduates from this program are equipped to work in multiple imaging and therapeutic fields, but also research settings and in industry.
Our program is a unique graduate offering in the field of radiologic sciences that presents multi-modality training along with clinical trials preparation. The MIT program offers several modality concentrations to choose from, including nuclear medicine technology, radiation therapy, and magnetic resonance imaging. All students in the program receive a didactic education in research essentials as well as hand-on experience in a research laboratory.
The Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics Program believes in developing graduates that are highly skilled clinical and research professionals, dedicated to field of molecular medicine, with a love of life-long learning, service to the community and a desire to give the best care and advocacy to the patients they serve. We are excited about our novel graduate program and the opportunities available in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
