About Dr. Rottnek
As Medical Director of Corrections Medicine for the Saint Louis County Department of Health, his clinical practice is located at the Buzz Westfall Justice Center and Saint Louis County Family Courts. Throughout his career, he has taught at the high school level through post-graduate medical and theological education. At Saint Louis University, he teaches in the School of Medicine and the Interprofessional Education Program, engages in community-based and academic research, and directs the Rodney M. Coe Distinction in Community Service Program and the Service and Advocacy Learning Community. He was recently elected to the Saint Louis Regional Health Commission as the Chair of the Provider Services Advisory Board.
