History

The modern division of endocrinology began in 1977 with its first division director, Coy Fitch, M.D. Under his leadership, Stewart Albert, M.D., and Alan Silverberg, M.D., were recruited and both remain pillars of the division today.

Research and growth within the division flourished under the directorship of Arshag Mooradian, M.D., and John Morley, M.D.

The long standing tradition of research and clinical excellence continues to this day under the enthusiasm and leadership of  Sandeep Dhindsa, M.D.
