Dr. Eric Armbrecht is committed to the research, development and implementation of new ideas that facilitate chronic disease prevention and management throughout the health care system. A balance among technical expertise, creativity, scientific method and practical application characterizes his approach to collaborative research projects with academic, government, corporate and non-profit organizations. He has led numerous efforts for developing, evaluating, and communicating health improvement strategies across diverse populations and settings.

Prior to joining the SLUCOR faculty, Dr. Armbrecht served as Executive Director of a non-profit community health organization, Vice President of Research and Development for a diabetes technology company, Director of Health Improvement for an association of large employers and Principal of a public health research and consulting practice.
