The Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapeutics at Doisy College of Health Sciences is pleased to announce that the radiation therapy class of 2011 received a 100 percent pass rate on the Radiation Therapy Certification Board Exam.
Students take the national exam after successfully completing the bachelor of science degree program.
"I congratulate the radiation therapy students who took the credentialing exam in 2011," said Kathy Kienstra, program director. "Their combined average score was higher than the national average and higher than any other radiation therapy class at Saint Louis University. The student's efforts combined with outstanding faculty, staff and clinical sites made this possible. The radiation therapy program will continue to strive for such outstanding success in the future."
