Event Details: November 18 - November 22

Saint Louis University will host its first annual International Education Week (IEW) Monday, Nov. 18 through Friday, Nov. 22. IEW is an annual event co-sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education.

The week will focus on the rich cultural diversity of the SLU community and highlight the significant role that international education plays in preparing active global citizens. Special events will celebrate cultural diversity and spotlight the many global linkages at the University through panel discussions, films and lectures.

A special kickoff event, including a proclamation from the office of Missouri Governor Jay Nixon, is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at SLU's Center for Global Citizenship, 3672 West Pine Mall, and will be followed by an International Resource Fair, showcasing many of the international programs and initiatives at SLU. The week will also feature opportunities to participate virtually through interactive on-line learning. All events are free and open to the public.
