As part of SLU's participation in the White House's Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge, a group of 20 students attended the documentary Jerusalem Feb. 2 at the St. Louis Science Center.

The movie explores the three major faith traditions — Judaism, Christianity and Islam — that converge in the ancient city of Jerusalem. The students followed the movie with lunch and discussion.

They noted that faith can sometimes be an awkward topic to talk about, but that dialogue and cooperation is necessary to break down barriers of misunderstanding and prejudice The discussion was led by students from Interfaith Alliance and by members of SLU's Center for Service and Community Engagement.
