Help Make Newslink Better

The SLU community is invited to answer a brief survey regarding the Newslink homepage and ‘Daily Update' email.

The Office of University Communications is looking to enhance SLU Newslink, and it needs your help.

Now through Friday, March 1, faculty, staff and students are encouraged to complete a brief survey about the SLU Newslink webpage and the Daily Update email.

Feedback will be used in planning further improvements to the internal communications effort.

Approximately 20,000 readers receive the Daily Update email each weekday. News items, announcements and event notices from the email are archived on the SLU Newslink website.

Since their debut 13 years ago, the Newslink webpage and email have evolved to meet the needs of the University community.

Most recently, the "Ignatian Thought of the Day" and the weekly "Mission Matters" were added as regular features in the email.

Originally developed for faculty and staff, students began receiving the "Daily Update" in 2009. A student section was added to the email, and the Newslink team continues to collaborate with SLU Connection for content.

For more information or questions about the Newslink survey, contact Danielle Lacey, internal communications editor, at 314-977-2519 or newslink@slu.edu.

(Note that the survey may skip pages or question numbers, as determined by participants answers.)

Higher purpose. Greater good.
