Saint Louis University prepares for the 2013 Fall Welcome, which kicks off Wednesday, Aug. 21, when the University residence halls open for new students at 9 a.m. Returning students will be allowed to begin moving in at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23.

International students have been on campus Aug. 17, and their orientation continues until Aug. 21.

The annual New Student Convocation and Family Welcome will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, in Chaifetz Arena. Incoming students and their families will have the opportunity to hear from administrators, faculty, students and staff as they become members of the SLU community.

Other scheduled events include the annual Fall Welcome Kick-Off Event and Square Dance Thursday, Aug. 22; Midnight Breakfast, which is also on Thursday; and the First-Year Summer Reading Session on Friday.
