An Update on the Billiken Buy Initiative
The Billiken Buy training is still ongoing, with SLUCare the next area for training. Business managers will receive adequate notice prior to their department's designated training date.
After a department is trained, business managers should monitor their department's usage in Billiken Buy to ensure that trained users are placing orders in this system.
As previously communicated, Billiken Buy will eventually replace the Banner requisitioning module for placing purchase orders. Departments are encouraged to begin using the system immediately after training to familiarize themselves with it. It is recommended that departments promptly request vendors that are not in Billiken Buy after receiving training, as the supplier registration process can be arduous.
