Volunteer to Be a Poll Worker on Election Day

Faculty, staff and students are invited to work the polling place in Busch Student Center on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Working in shifts is an option if necessary.

Training for poll workers starts this week. Information about how to become a poll worker, election judge, etc., can be found online.

Interested participants can contact Meredith McLaughlin, executive assistant to Kent Porterfield, Ed.D., in the Division of Student Development, at mmclau10@slu.edu or 314-977-2226.

Volunteers can also sign up online, and when the election worker calls for follow-up information, let he or she know of a preference to be placed at SLU.
