ST.LOUIS -- Nancy Cibulka, Ph.D., assistant professor of nursing, will be among 43 nurses in the nation to be inducted as Fellows into the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in 2012.

The induction will take place at the AANP 27th National Conference in Orlando, Fla., in June.
Cibulka coordinates the family nurse practitioner program at the School of Nursing. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and women's health nurse practitioner and researches preventive health care practices of adults, with an emphasis on women's health.
Cibulka will join Susan Hoffstetter, Ph.D., a SLUCare women's health advanced nurse practitioner and assistant professor in the department of obstetrics, gynecology and women's health in the School of Medicine, in representing Saint Louis University as Fellows. They are among five nurses from Missouri who have been selected as Fellows of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
The Fellows program of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners was established in 2000 to recognize nurse practitioner (NP) leaders who have made outstanding contributions to health care through NP clinical practice, research, education or policy.
