Therapy dogs from C.H.A.M.P. (Canine Helpers Allow More Possibilities), a local volunteer organization of therapy dogs and their owners, came to Pius XII Memorial Library to help students cope with the hectic time at the end of the semester.
Six dogs and their trainers visited with students, who were allowed to pet, offer treats and play with dog toys with the therapy animals.
C.H.A.M.P. will return to Pius from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, with more dogs to visit with students as they prepare for finals. The dogs will be located on the second floor and the lower level of the library.
