: Dr. Tadych coordinates the Psychiatric/Mental Health nursing graduate specialty and teaches primarily in the clinical courses that include Health Promotion, Advanced Clinical Studies: Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing, and Advance Practice Nursing: Seminar & Practicum. She also teaches within the traditional and accelerated options of the undergraduate nursing program.

Practice: Dr. Tadych is a Missouri State Board of Nursing-recognized ANCC certified adult psychiatric/mental health clinical nurse specialist and a Missouri licensed psychologist. She provides eight hours per week of direct client and staff services at a Residential Care Facility I in St. Louis City as part of a grant from the Sidney R. Baer, Jr. Foundation.

Professional and Scholarly Activities: Dr. Tadych is principal investigator for a three-year grant (2005-2007) from the Sidney R. Baer, Jr. Foundation. Coinciding with the goals of the foundation, funding is directed toward various faculty members serving the needs of adult individuals with serious mental health issues and co-occurring physical health problems, chemical dependency issues, and/or developmental disabilities, as well as providing consultative and educative assistance to the two agencies' staff. Given her dual careers, she is a member of both nursing and psychology organizations that include the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, International Society of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurses, National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists, Sigma Theta Tau International, American Nurses Association, American Psychological Association, and Missouri Psychological Association.

Research and Publication: Dr. Tadych has many areas of interest within the fields of nursing and psychology. She is continuing to explore and develop specific research and publication foci.
